Track Name: Take a Hold of Me
I will see you some day soon
Hanging in the hot-air balloon
of my love, darling, come back down to me

I don't need nobody else
hanging in my top shelf
you're so high, you're hanging with the moon

Something about the way you done
Shining like the morning sun
You bring the showers, the showers of rain

But I don't need no sympathy
Darling come take a hold of me
I don't need no sympathy

In that patterned dress you wore
All those sweet things you swore
Your mama said, My sailor stay indoor

She say, Daughter, daughter don't be like me
Fall in love with every man you see
You never listened, never listened to what your mama say,

Licking river, lazy sun
You're my Kentucky honey bun
You're so sweet, so sweet to me

Well what's this all about
Sweet Toe-Main and a roustabout
Darling you're so sweet, so sweet to me

And she came walking up yeah she looked
like an hourglass mixed with a dashmark,
And the way she strutting you could tell
she wasn't much one for dresses, yeah
she came walking up in slacks,
And the way she was leaning in that carpenter's jacket
you could just tell she had just got off shift,

And she say, I don't need no sympathy
Darling come take a hold of me
I don't need no, no sympathy

And I started humming back
I'll cook your supper, let you go to bed,
You been sipping white lightning, it gone to your head
I'll cook your supper, let you go to bed

I don't need no sympathy
Darling come take a hold of me
I don't need no, no sympathy

I don't need no sympathy
Darling come take a hold of me
I don't need no, no sympathy
Track Name: K.C. Whistle Blues
Originally done by Lester McFarland

I thought I heard that loving K. C. blow
I thought I heard that loving K. C. blow
She blowed like she never blowed before

I woke up this mornin', had to whistle to keep from cryin'
I woke up this mornin', I had to whistle to keep from cryin'
I was thinkin' about that used-to-be of mine

I wonder if she ever thinks of me
I wonder if she ever thinks of me
Sometimes I think that I will write and see

Oh, just look where that evening sun has gone
Oh, just look where that evening sun has gone
Gone down behind the mountain and it won't be back 'til morn'

Oh, take me back and try me one more time
Oh, take me back and try me one more time
If I don't do, then send me down the line

Oh, hand me that long distance phone
Oh, hand me that long distance phone
Gonna talk to my honey all night long

I thought I heard that loving K. C. blow
I thought I heard that loving K. C. blow
She blowed like she'll never blow no more
